The National Water and Sewerage Corporation Iganga branch Manager has
said billing collections have gone up to Shs17m in May from 7m in
April. “We have 620 clients though the number is still far below the
4000 targeted water users in Iganga town council.
“Mr. Kisakye told Daily Monitor in an interview last Thursday. “Many
people are still using the contaminated underground water sources and
we still have a very big challenge of sensitizing the people to shift
to piped water,” he added. |
