Southwestern Cluster Project - Package 1 - Kagera water supply project
The project aimed at improving water supply services to the population in Isingiro District enroute Kagera – Mbarara highway. The key components included; construction of a water intake (12,000 m3/day), construction of a water treatment plant (4,000 m3/day), laying of 51.8 km of water distribution network, installation of a water storage (1,150 m3) and construction of sanitation facilities. The system was substantially completed and system testing commissioned.
Integrated Water Management Development Project (IWMDP) – Adjumani
The project aimed at improving water supply and sanitation services in the towns of Adjumani town council, Pakele, Dzaipi and Ciforo. The Project entailed; construction of a water intake (12,000 m3/day), construction of a water treatment plant (4,000 m3/day), laying of 51.8 km of water distribution network, installation of a water storage (1,150 m3) and construction of sanitation facilities. The system was successfully test commissioned.
